After investigation of the original report, the comprehensive evidence left no doubt of the plagiarism.

Sent toniaalice94 a message asking if she wanted to respond to the allegation. Received the following message in response:

Yesterday, someone brought my attention to the fact that at fanfiction.net, a user posted a story of mine as though it had been written by them.

On 24 March, roguemudblood reported that Invader Zim Fanatic a.k.a. The Vamp Child had posted several plagiarised works on Scribd. They also reported that 27cowboys had also plagiarised one of these works, TEXTually active by Char.loves.to.write. That report is here.

On 27 March, horustheavenger reported that reader333 had plagiarised psartucci's Wild Fire in the Stirling Emberverse. The report is here.

This case was reported to TaPir and they have already done a thorough investigation and persuaded the plagiarist to remove the story. (NICE WORK!!) For that reason, I am adding reader333 to our list of known plagiarists and ( Read more... )

On March 21, TaPiR received a report that FFN user reader333 had plagiarized another fanfic which was hosted off-site.

Investigation shows that the story, retitled emberverse, is indeed plagiarized from Wild Fire (2010). The original owner of the fanfic, psartucci, also lodged a report here.

On March 22nd, paraka reported that dancinbutterfly's bandom story "You Know What They Do To Guys Like Us In Prison" had been plagiarised on Archive of Our Own by Echoooooo and Edlundis for the Supernatural fandom. On March 10th, roguemudblood reported that Bluedragon000x (FF ID 4404443) had plagiarised danyaelle's story "Lord Sh'omamoo".
